My theory is that you should never eat lunch alone. This theory combined with a tweet that @JJtweets, @CityofRenton and @BMW shared with me last November is how SMLunch.com started. In January about 30 of us met up at Five Guys in Renton for a social networking lunch. The next social media lunch meetup is now scheduled.

This time around we’re scaling up! We’re going to meet at Seastar Restaurant and Raw Bar in Seattle (South Lake Union to be exact). Address is 2121 Terry Avenue, Suite 108, Seattle 98121 and phone number is (206) 462-4364. You can take the Seattle Streetcar from Westlake Center or park in the 2200 Westlake garage – Seastar provides 90 minutes of free parking with validation only. Meet at 12 pm on Thursday, March 25th.

What is this? Well, it is a way that us Tweeters can get together without any attachment. There are no speakers — no programs — no tickets — no charge — it is strictly networking at a great restaurant. A place for us to meet, share connections and enjoy lunch.
And for those who attended the first SMLunch, we chose Seastar because they are supporting the event this time around! They are staffing up and offering some specials: free cup of soup or ½ size salad with purchase of entrée. The kicker is that they are offering up a FREE $15 comp card to every Tweeter (limit 100) before leaving. Comp cards are (no purchase necessary!!!) free soup, salad, appetizer or dessert up to $15 for your next visit. So come, meet up, meet fellow Tweeters and get a free $15 comp card for your next visit. Hope to see you there!

If you are in, send me a Tweet @SeattleBlank to hold your spot. I’ll list Tweeter RSVPs below.

And for those that come, please remember that Twestival at Emerald City Trapeze in Seattle is Thursday evening.
